With the increases in costs of iron and copper ores, incongruity between significant imports these ores into China ongoing accumulation unused slag has greatly increased. Even so, there are few low-value methods for utilization slag. The present work demonstrates processing this material via reduction whilst smelting wear-resistant cast iron. This system is able to recover copper, iron, zinc, lead. FactSage software package was used calculate thermodynamics slag, suitable conditions were experimentally investigated. thermodynamic calculations indicated that lead oxides could all be readily reduced whereas sulfides more difficult than oxides. most comprised a temperature 1450 °C, an alkalinity 1.2, reducing agent ratio 0.225. newly developed process found 95.49% from along with 83.54% 98.30% zinc. copper-containing molten obtained create
